Medicare Supplement Plan B Coverage

by: Leandro Mueller

Medicare Supplement Plans (also called Medigap insurance) are policies that cover the “gaps” or out-of-pocket cost of Original Medicare. It has ten standardized plans to which Medicare Supplement Plan B is among them.

Medigap Plan B, though sometimes also referred to as Medicare Plan B, is very different from Medicare Part B. The latter refers to the half part of Medicare which provides outpatient health coverage. Medigap plan B, on the other hand, provides coverage to the out-of-pocket costs that you will incur from both Medicare Part A and Part B.

  • Part A deductible coverage
